C.R.Reddi on Vemana

Transcript of a speech. The speech itself is a bit unclear but it gets better after a while. At one stage C.R.Reddi (see the transcripthttp://eemaata.com/misc/Vemana_CRReddy_Bangore_1970.pdf) says "Usually in most religions the idea prevails that individual's salvation could be acquired irrespective of one's conduct as a member of society." I am not sure whether this is true of all religions or which religion. Pavan K.Varma in "Being Indian" says that it is more true of Hinduism.
